The Agilent HP 54006A High Frequency Probe provides passive probing of high speed logic circuits and low impedance circuits. The probe allows interchangeable probe tip division ratios of 10:1 or 20:1. The major advantage of this probe is the small amount of capacitive probe tip loading (approx. 150 fF). This makes it possible to probe high frequency (dc to 6GHz) circuits without disturbing the circuit with a large capacitive load. The probe was developed with the 54120T Digitizing Oscilloscope.
