Sorensen DCS20-50E
The Sorensen DCS Series is ideally suited for a wide range of applications requiring DC power in a compact form factor. Applications range from manufacturing test and burn-in of automotive components, avionics electronics, telecommunications and consumer products to beam steering, process control, and laboratory R&D use. Option M9C = Internal IEEE-488/RS-232 Interface (can only support 12-bit slaves) The DCS family provides a highly reliable power platform and includes the following features: Easy-to-use front panel with 10-turn potentiometers to adjust voltage and current settings, which are displayed simultaneously LEDs to indicate overtemperature Remote M9C Programming Shutdown and overvoltage protection Status and constant-voltage/current mode operation Features: Output: 0 to 20 V, 0 to 50 A Output Power: 1.0 kW Simultaneous digital display of both voltage and current Automatic mode crossover into current or voltage mode Ten-turn potentiometer voltage and current controls permit high-resolution setting of the output voltage and current from zero to the rated output Flexible output configuration: multiple units can be connected in parallel or series to provide increased current or voltage High-frequency switching technology allows high power density, providing increased power output in a small, light package Remote sensing to compensate for losses in power leads Adjustable Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) External TTL, AC or DC shutdown Remote voltage, resistive, current limit and OVP programming with selectable programming constants External indicator signals for remote monitoring of OVP status, local/remote programming status, thermal shutdown, and output voltage and current 100-132/200-220 Vac selectable input voltage, 47-63 Hz, single-phase operation Weight: 19 lb; Size: 43 mm (1.72 in) H x 482 mm (19.0 in) W x 445 mm (17.52 in) D Power Supply 0-20 V, 0-50 A
