Anritsu MP1520B
The Anritsu MP1520B is an error measuring instrument for 2, 8, 34, and 139 Mb/s digital transmission systems. This instrument can generate and receive pseudo-random patterns with frames which approximate line traffic signals. In addition, it has the following features and capabilities: an input/output level conforming to ITU-T G.703, measurements recorded by an internal memory, and a built-in printer, graphic display, and error analysis for ITU-T G.821, G.826, and M.2100. This instrument is particularly suitable for system testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting. In addition, the Mux/Demux option can be attached to perform N x 64 kb/s and multiplexer/demultiplexer measurements and measurements between different hierarchies. The jitter generation/measurement option can be used to measure jitter tolerance, output jitter, and jitter transfer. The MP1520B is suitable for evaluating installed systems, for maintenance measurements, and for in-service monitoring. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to operate. Features Generates and receives patterns with or without frames Mux/Demux function in hierarchical structures to N x 64 kb/s (optional) Variety of error and alarm measurement functions (simultaneous measurements) Three types of powerful error analysis Jitter generation and measurement (optional) Graphic display allows easy checking of measurement results Easy settings PDH NETWORK ANALYZER
