ET instrumente ESL-Solar-V250-C5-Solibro-V1.0
The electronic load ESL-Solar 500 was specially developed for testing crystalline and thin-film solar modules. All required load tests for solar modules can be performed with the ESL-Solar 500. The load offers constant current, resistance and voltage operating modes as well as MPP (Maximum Power Point) tracking and MPP scanning. All functions are set via the clear color touch display or via the standard USB and RS232 interfaces. The Ethernet interface is available as an option. While MPP Track mode, triggered by a push of a button or a bus command, continuously adjusts the MPP, MPP Scan can be used to view an individual power range of the solar module. This is necessary, for example, when you want to examine the behavior of unfavorably mounted solar modules. One such case is installation where partial shading occurs. In this case, there is not just one MPP (Maximum Power Point), but two or even more than two MPPs. The data obtained during MPP Track and Scan can be read out via the interfaces. Voltage, current and power are continuously displayed. To obtain an exact power curve, voltage and current values are measured simultaneously. The ESL-Solar 500 is suitable not only for the development of solar cells and modules, but also for module production, incoming inspection by solar system installers, and installation of the complete solar system. The ESL-Solar 500 is housed in a portable enclosure (235x135x435 mm). As a dual unit, it is available in a 19" enclosure (ESL-Solar 500D). For system applications, a dual-unit version is available, i.e. two loads in one enclosure (19", 2U, 380 mm), without operation and display, type ESL-Solar 500D-ENC. Optionally, the ESL-Solar 500 is available with an irradiance and temperature measurement sensor. The irradiance has a measurement range of 0....1200 W/m² and the temperature measurement range is -20°C to +80°C. The option designation is "S". According to DIN EN 60891, the software calculates the peak power of the modules at 1000 W/m². Electronic load, 3x 0…250 VDC, 0…5 ADC, max. 500 W
