All SourceMeter models provide precise voltage and current sourcing as well as measurement functions. Each SourceMeter SMU device is both a highly stable DC current source and a full-featured 6½-digit multimeter. The current source features include low noise, precision, and readback capability. The multimeter is characterized by high repeatability and low noise. The result is a compact, single-channel, parametric DC test instrument. In operation, these devices can function as a voltage source, current source, voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter.
