Rohde & Schwarz ESHS10
The ESHS10 radio interference measuring receivers are double-conversion receivers for the range from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. They initially present themselves as manually operated measuring receivers with high frequency resolution and precise level indication, whether average or quasi-peak weighted. The ESHS measuring receivers substantially reduce the required measurement effort thanks to their "built-in intelligence." As specialists for EMI measurements according to the standards published by CISPR, CENELEC, FCC, VCCI and VDE, they deliver measurement results quickly and accurately. Their strength is the automatic measurement of radio interference voltages. The ESHS 10 combines three device classes: the compact, manually tunable, battery-operated measuring receiver the automatic measuring receiver that independently performs measurement tasks and creates reports the system-capable measuring receiver Features: Frequency range 9 kHz to 30 MHz RF level switch in 10 dB steps over the range 0 to 120 dB; high pulse capability of the calibration attenuator (100 mWs) Highly overload-resistant preamplifier, switchable between preselection filter and 1st mixer Crystal-stable synthesizer as 1st LO, adjustable in 10 Hz steps, sweepable for fast frequency runs High-level input mixer with high oscillator suppression Field strength measurements with measuring antennas Highly linear envelope demodulator with more than 70 dB dynamic range Parallel peak, average and quasi-peak detectors Peak indication with automatic consideration of IF bandwidth correction values for measuring broadband interference (PK/MHz) Automatic detection of overload in the mixer stages and in the measurement channel by permanently active peak detectors Logarithmic amplifier with more than 70 dB dynamic range 12-bit A/D converter with short conversion time IF filters optimized for settling Convenient and fast firmware update via Flash-EPROMS Digital level indication on the LC display and analog level indication on the moving-coil instrument, taking into account transducers and their unit Detection of defective assemblies by self-test High measurement accuracy: error < 1 dB; typically < 0.5 dB EMC MEASURING RECEIVER 9 kHz - 30 MHz
