Signal generator in the frequency range from 5 kHz to 3 GHz for "classic" analog receiver measurement technology, with signal quality exceptional for its class, high level accuracy, and versatile modulation and generation capabilities. In addition, it is characterized by application-oriented configurability and very simple operation. A programmable sweep for RF and AF levels as well as for compensating external frequency responses makes the SMT the ideal EMC signal source. Resolution of 0.1 Hz, phase offset adjustable in 1-degree steps. For AM, FM, phase, and pulse modulation, FM-DC with high carrier accuracy, broadband FM from DC to 8 MHz, broadband phase modulation from DC to 2 MHz, programmable level correction, minimal spurious radiation.
