Tektronix 1410
The Tektronix 1410 Series NTSC Sync and Test Signal Generator is a precision generator for use in studios, remote vans, maintenance facilities, and anywhere high-quality sync and test signals are needed. The 1410 includes a genlock sync generator and can be configured with up to five in any combination of five signal generators and one signal switcher. The Tektronix 1410 NTSC Mainframe generates a chrominance subcarrier at 3.579545 MHz ±10 Hz. Each ±1 Hz color standard has a proportional control oven for the oscillator circuit. A front-panel lamp indicates proper operation of the oven. This instrument comes with one SPG2 sync pulse generator. The SPG2 has an output amplitude of 2 Vp-p into 75 ohms and a composite video amplitude of 1 V into 75 ohms. It uses either internally generated or externally supplied subcarrier for color standard reference. The subcarrier source is selectable from the front panel. The SPG2 comes with two external synchronization modes: external reference and Genlock. The input requirements for the sync source are 1 V nominal composite video or black burst, sync negative with sync amplitude of 286 mV ±6 dB and burst amplitude of 286 mV ±12 dB. Delivery includes the following plug-ins: SPG2, TSG7, TSP1, TSG3, TSG5, TSG6 SYNC-TEST-SIGNALGENERATOR NTSC
