With an analog bandwidth of 500 MHz for each of the 4 channels, this device is equipped with two 2 GS/s ADCs. When recording with 2 channels, the maximum speed is therefore available. In four-channel operation, this still provides 1 GS/s per channel. For repetitive signals, the equivalent sampling rate reaches 100 GS/s. The standard memory depth is 50 kByte, and it can optionally be expanded to up to 8 MByte. The standard resolution is 8 bit; with averaging and HI-Res, up to 13 bit can be achieved. The time resolution ranges from 500 ps to 10 s/div. An extensive mathematics program simplifies further processing of the captured data.
